Home > Our Services > Our Projects > Somali Women’s Engagement Forum

The project is intended to identify the needs of Somali women, addressing issues such as the barriers of community involvement and employability. We provide one to one support to access employment, and provide a platform to meet and build social networks in order to build confidence and sensitivity of multiculturalism.

The activities we provide include:

  • Access to employment training
  • Parenting workshops
  • Leadership workshops
  • Discussion forum
  • Somali folk dance
  • Health awareness workshops
  • Group meetings
  • Talks inviting other service providers
  • Facilitating work placements
  • Volunteering opportunities
